Eager to demonstrate the effectiveness of advertising on its signature app, Snap Inc. is looking to buy an advertising technology or marketing firm, engaging in acquisition talks with, for example, AdRoll. The Snapchat parent discussed purchasing AdRoll up to and after its initial public offering in March, though no offer was made, reported Business Insider.
