For a D.C.-area senior who needs some help at home, there is a robot named Rudy. That’s what Fairfax-based INF Robotics Inc. is hoping to bring to the region’s elderly population, as the startup takes its in-home health care companion to market. It will make the product commercially available through a partnership with Sodexo-owned Comfort Keepers of Reston with more similar contracts in the works, according to founder and CEO Anthony Nunez.
