Concord Hospitality Enterprises Inc. has purchased 2.8 acres from Books-a-Million subsidiary Preferred Growth Properties directly across from the St. Johns Town Center for $4 million. The plans, according to a company official, are to build an "upscale 160-room Hyatt Place" at the location. Additional details were not immediately available. Preferred Growth Properties closed on a large tract of land across from the St. Johns Town Center with about 45 developable acres for $46.95 million in March...
