Disney, Universal back to business after Hurricane Irma

Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando Resort both plan to open today, Sept. 12 — nearly 24 hours after Hurricane Irma pummeled the region. Disney announced the theme parks will re-open at normal hours, 9 a.m.-7 p.m. with an Extra Magic Hour beginning at 8 a.m. "for Disney resort guests who weathered the storm with us," said the theme park. The water parks — Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon — are both closed on Sept. 12. In addition, Disney's resorts are expected to be back to normal operations...
