No more sleeping on the job for CSX train conductors and engineers. The railway eliminated napping breaks, the 45 minutes of sleep conductors and engineers were allowed when trains were stopped. “We had a rule that said you could take a nap while you worked,” CEO Hunter Harrison told The Wall Street Journal. “We don’t have that now.” The company had allowed naps for more than 20 years, CSX spokesperson Rob Doolittle told the Business Journal.
