Jules L. Wagman, 90, founding editor of the Jacksonville Business Journal, died April 13. He had been fighting lung cancer for more than three years. Wagman came to the First Coast in 1985 to start the Jacksonville Business Journal. It was the tenth in a growing chain of nationwide business weeklies. He had joined American City Business Journals’ flagship weekly in Kansas City in 1983 from Cleveland, Ohio, where he was on the news staff of The Cleveland Press until it folded in 1982.
