Out-of-state attorneys welcome to temporarily practice in Texas

The Texas Supreme Court issued an order Aug. 29 allowing out-of-state lawyers to practice in Texas temporarily if they have been displaced by Harvey or if they are volunteering to help victims from the storm and flooding, according to a press release. Licensed attorneys in good standing in another U.S. jurisdiction can register for six months of temporary practice in the Lone Star State, per the release.
