Energy storage tax credit bill shelved; cash rebate bill still alive

A bill that would’ve provided a tax credit for energy storage projects has been shelved. Senate Bill 365 failed to cross over to the House after being deferred by the Senate Committee on Transportation and Energy. Sen. Lorraine Inouye, D-Hilo-Kona, chairwoman of this committee, also was one of the introducers of the bill.
