As Bayer nears the closure of its $66 billion buy of Monsanto, the German firm is finally talking about what will happen to some of its businesses in Research Triangle Park. Bayer has reached an agreement to sell parts of its Crop Science businesses to BASF, which also has a major RTP operation, for about $7 billion.
