Duke Energy plans to build an 8.8 megawatt solar farm in Suwannee County, Florida. It will be Duke Energy Florida’s third solar project, and it brings the utility to 17.8 megawatts of solar capacity in the state. That does not count the six megawatt Stanton Solar in Orange County, which is operated by Duke commercial subsidiary Duke Energy Renewables.
