Johnson C. Smith University says concerns over its finances have landed it on probation for the next 12 months. The Charlotte university says the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges did not reaffim its accreditation. That’s connected to JCSU’s 2016-17 fiscal year audit report, according to a JCSU. That report includes a disclosure format that did not appear on previous audits.
