Steve LackmeyerLast Friday I broke the story on Dennis and David Box offering to swap a 118-space parking lot on Main Street with a much smaller 60-space parking lot owned by the Police Association to prevent the group from building a garage across the street from Bicentennial Park. Neither Ed Hill, president of the association or his attorney, Kent Gilliland with Hall Estill, have returned numerous calls seeking comment on their appeal, the filing of a new design application, or the swap offer.
