Local veterans take honor flight to Washington, D.C. memorials

More than a dozen local veterans are on a whirlwind trip to our nation's capital.The veterans took off from San Antonio International Airport Friday morning with the Honor Flight Program. Nineteen veterans boarded the flight.The oldest veteran is 100 years old.Some of the veterans even served together and haven't seen each other since."We've had some where they actually served on ships next to each other," Court Van Sickler said.Also on Friday morning's flight was Dorothy Lucas.
