Austin bar owners pull out of Houston, turn to new concept in hometown

The owners of an Austin-based restaurant and bar are leaving Houston as they focus on their hometown. After four years in the Bayou City, J. Black's Feel Good Kitchen & Lounge will close Feb. 11, a spokesperson told the Houston Business Journal via email. Manera Restaurant Group, which operates the J. Black's restaurants, will focus its efforts on the original Austin location at 710-B W. Sixth St. as well as a new casual dining concept in the Texas capital.
