The Capital Metropolitan Transportation Authority board wants Randy Clarke to be the transit agency's next president and CEO, who will coordinate public transit in much of the Austin area. Clarke is the vice president of operations and member services at the Washington, D.C.-based American Public Transportation Association, a nonprofit that advocates for public transit across the United States.
