Jumpolin piñata store to open anew about a mile from former store

The owners of Jumpolin, an East Austin piñata and party store that was razed in early 2015 to make way for a South By Southwest event, will reopen soon in a new location. Monica and Sergio Lajarazu are sprucing up a shop at 2605 E. Cesar Chavez St., with a grand opening planned for Aug. 22, KVUE reports.
