Suspect in Halloween slaying arrested in Richmond

Richmond police have arrested a suspect in connection with the slaying on Halloween of a 42-year-old man. Thadeus Colley was arrested Friday and booked for the killing of Jamaa Anderson, who was found outside a home in the 3100 block of Deseret Drive. “This was a difficult investigation,” Richmond police said in a statement, adding that the arrest had been made possible by “community support, great teamwork and very experienced detectives.” No additional details about Colley or the arrest were immediately available.
