Thornton man who died while climbing Longs Peak identified

A man who died while winter mountaineering in Rocky Mountain National Park, attempting to climb Longs Peak, has been identified. The body of 39-year-old Pawel Abramczyk of Thornton was found Sunday afternoon by members of the park’s search and rescue team at a halfway point of The Loft, according to a park news release.
