Rockwell Collins expands Sterling simulation and training facility

Aerospace and defense company Rockwell Collins recently expanded its 180,000-square-foot simulation and training facility in Sterling with a 30,000-square-foot addition. The $3.5 million project was completed earlier this year — though it won't open until August — and is projected to bring more than 90 new jobs to Loudoun County, according to a press release issued by Loudoun's Department of Economic Development.
