Web.com Group Inc. CEO and founder David Brown announced Friday that he will retire from the company in early 2019. Brown launched the company in 1997 and grew it to $750 million in revenue before it was bought by Siris Capital Group for $2.24 billion this year. “Working alongside our Web.com employees for the last 21 years has been immensely rewarding, and for that, I am forever grateful,” Brown said in a statement.
