After medical emergencies, Schaumburg addresses carbon monoxide danger in hookah lounges

In the wake of three medical emergencies in 2018 triggered by excessive carbon monoxide levels, Schaumburg officials may require all six hookah lounges in the village to install alarms that would automatically activate their ventilation systems when such levels exceed the legal limit.
