Decade-long effort results in Armada skate park

Over ten years ago there was a line item in the Armada Township budget for a skate park. It was an afterthought at best and was for $240.On Saturday morning Armada Board and Bike opened up a new skate park that cost almost $300,000 after years of hard work and support from the community.Several founding members of Board and Bike were students at Armada High School when they formed the group in 2010 in hopes of building their own skate park.
