The City of Memphis pulled a $3.5 million permit Feb. 8 for the replacement of a Whitehaven fire station. The permit is for new construction at 1283 Holmes Road for the City of Memphis' Fire Service Division. The area's current facility, Fire Station 43, is located at 1253 Holmes Road and is slated for replacement, according to the city's capital improvement budget for the current fiscal year.
