One Midtown development approved; another shot down by Land Use

Developers of two significant Midtown developments sought the Land Use Control Board's approval Thursday. Unanimously, the board approved one and turned down the other. One of the projects was the $24 million, 109-room hotel Loeb Properties has proposed for Overton Square. The primary concern raised by attendees of a neighborhood meeting about the project was the hotel's parking.
